Now,that is progress

12 Jul

Twelve years ago, he was content with just a small space in a corner of a ground. He was getting geared to compete against his rival, who was his clone in a way. The nemesis’s business was opposite to the ground. He eyed him with jealousy and vowed to make progress in the coming years. Slowly, after a few years, a roof over his head, he was still not content. People started praising him and came over to receive his blessings. His business started flourishing and the building extended further. When I was working in TI, I used to see him almost every day on my way to work. People stopped by , on their way to work, while meeting someone, so much so that there was a traffic jam with people stopping right in the middle of the road, just to get a glimpse of him. During my last visit, he had lot of assistants , all the nine planets perfectly aligned in his backyard..What a sight!! Today, he manages all the two wheelers in Banglore Jaynagar area .
Meet the Two Wheeler Ganesha…

We have two Ganesh temples, right opposite to each other near my house. Started as just a small idol placed in that ground and today, a huge navagraha at the back and another temple of annapurneshwari..Man! That is real progress , I tell you. There are new two wheelers queued up for poojas, as he has been promoted to two wheeler Ganapathi. For four wheelers, you would have to go to 4th block Ganesha. It is all well organized, u see. Ganesha, who needs lot of attention and forces people to worship him first, is good at branching out, and of course, with all that milk that he drinks, he is mighty too. Jai Ganesha!!
